Hermann Schellenberg (Christian Hermann Schellenberg) 1816-31.08.1862

Hermann Schellenberg was a composer and organist in Leipzig Germany. As a composer he was known for his three organ fantasies.

Schellenberg was Carl Ferdinand Becker's pupil and his successor as an organist of the Nicolai-Kirche. Schellenberg was also an acquaintance of Mendelssohn who apparently held him in high regard...
